 | The Government Information Center (GIC) is seeking photos of Delaware to be featured on the State's web site, delaware.gov. In the past year, this web site received an average of 8,000 visitors per day. Both amateur and professional photographers/artists are welcome to submit actual photographs or photographs of paintings which depict the seasonal or unique beauty of Delaware. Please submit digital photos only. The following guidelines must be met for any photos to be considered for inclusion on the State's web site:
Photographer/CopyrightEntries must be submitted by the actual photographer. Do not submit a photo taken by someone other than yourself. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of any image submitted. Your submission of the photo is your guarantee that you are the author and copyright holder of the photo.
Photo Subject RestrictionsPhotos containing recognizable people must be accompanied by a signed Photo Release Form. Please fax completed form to (302) 739-1209.
Return of PhotosPhotos will not be returned.
Ownership/Use RightsPhotographers retain the copyright to their photographs. By submitting your photo to the Government Information Center, photographers agree to have their photograph displayed on the Delaware.gov web site without any fee or other form of compensation. Photos will be credited to the photographer. By submitting your photo to the Government Information Center, you give the Government Information Center the right to use, modify or adapt your photograph for use on Delaware.gov.
Use of Photos on Delaware.govThe Government Information Center reserves the right to select which photos submitted will be used on the State's web site, Delaware.gov. All photos submitted will be considered for use, however, only those photos selected by the GIC will be displayed on Delaware.gov
Submitting PhotosDigital photos can be e-mailed to the Government Information Center at gic@state.de.us. Photos can also be submitted on floppies or CDs which should be mailed to the Government Information Center, Townsend Bldg., 401 Federal St., Suite 3, Dover, DE 19901, D370C
Photos submitted must be accompanied by your name, contact information, and location depicted of any or all photos submitted. | | | |
